【例题? 应用文写作】写一封邀请信,邀请你的朋友到你家参加一个便宴。

【解析】邀请信:

1)说明邀请对方参加的活动以及举行这种活动的目的。

2)说明活动的安排细节:时间、地点等。

3)如果对时间要求得比较严的话,说明要求参加者到达的具体时间以及活动结束的时间。

4)如有必要,请对方在某个确定时间之前确认能否应邀。

【例题? 应用文写作】根据下列信息写一封说明调整价格的书信,字数在130-150字之间。

1)随信附上薪的价格表,新价格将与下月初的第一天生效。除存货充裕的商品外,其余大部分均已调价。

2)与去年相比,原材料价格已上涨10%,有些承包商的价格涨幅高达15%。本公司产品向来享有质优、性能可靠的声誉,为确保产品质量,调整价格实属无奈之举。

3)上述情况,望能谅解。愿与贵公司加强合作。

4)附件:新价格表。

【解析】

?  首先要读题目,一般题目比较长,要有耐心

?  针对本篇通知函一般分为三步:首先告知通知的内容;告知客户不得不调整价格的原因的及相关信息;希望这次价格的调整可以得到客户的理解,展望未来。

Enclosed is our new price list, which will come into effect on the first day of next month. You will notice that we have increased the prices on most models. However, we have refrained from doing so on some models of which we hold large stocks.

We feel that we are obliged to explain to you why we have raised our prices on most models. We are paying 10% more for our raw materials than we were paying last year. Some of our subcontractors have even raised their prices by as much as 15%. As you know, we take great pride in our products that have been enjoying high reputation for their excellent quality and dependability in the past years. We will not compromise that reputation because of the rise of costs. We have, therefore, decided to raise the prices on some models.

第十一章  就业写作(Employment Letters)

【例题? 应用文写作】假如你是一位营销专业的学生,即将毕业。在晚报上看到一则招聘营销调研人员的广告,随即向该招聘公司写一封求职信,主要内容如下:

1)所申请的职位及信息来源,表示该广告简直就是为自己所写。

2)陈述本人的营销教育背景,对营销调研的兴趣。

3)再次强调对营销调研工作的兴趣,愿意继续学习相关知识。

4)给出本人的联系方法,希望该公司给予面试的机会。

【解析】

1)说明写信的目的。

?  对于应聘申请信,应说明你所要申请的职位以及你的信息来源,如广告应征或经人介绍等。

?  对于自荐信,除此之外,还应适当提及你的个人资历和背景;还可对所应聘单位进行褒奖;还可提出问题。总之,要引起读信人的兴趣及注意。

2)概括本人的经历和特长,表明自己能够胜任所申请的工作。

3)以请求面试做为结尾。

第十二章 推销信(Sales Letters)

本章重点:推销信的语言特色;推销信的写作内容

本章难点:撰写推销信

【例题? 应用文写作假定你公司是专门从事电子产品出口业务的中国公司,你从The Economist杂志上了解到法国ABK公司是专门从事电子产品进口的企业。请写一封推销信内容涵盖以下各点:

1)告诉对方你们从何处得知对方公司的情况;

2)介绍你公司是专门从事电子产品出口的公司,有意想和他们在平等互利的基础上建立直接的贸易关系;

3)随信寄上产品目录和价格单;

4)你们出口的产品质量上乘,工艺精良,值得信赖;

5)如在430日前订货,则可以享受10%的折扣优惠;

6)希望今后建立长期互惠的业务关系。

【解析】

1引起潜在顾客的注意。(Atttention)

读者的注意力通常会带来对这种产品或服务的兴趣和欲望,所以推销信开头一定要吸引注意力。

2)介绍产品或服务,引起读者的兴趣和购买欲望。(Interest)

在引起读者注意力后,要从各方面介绍所推销产品或服务,比如特征、用途、优点等。还可以用一些如专家意见、使用者好评、优惠的价格等来引起读者的兴趣和购买欲。

3)提出令人信服的证据。(Desire)

可以用售后服务保证,不适合可替换或退款,良好的保修记录等

来使读者相信推销信里不光是一些空洞的话语。

4)激励潜在的顾客采取行动。(Action)

前面说得再多,也是希望读者采取行动购买产品或服务。所以要在最后十分明确地激励潜在的顾客把行动付诸实施。用下面这些方式都可以敦促读者立刻购买。

注:因为第7章、第8章和第13章是知识点考试最少的几章,考试几乎很少出现这些章节的题目。所以这里就不做具体阐述了。

(六)命题特点

从命题特点来看,整体上看,出题顺序基本按照教程章节顺序来出题,但并不是特别规律。此特点有助于我们大体时准确把握考点所属章节,提高答题的正确率。从具体的题型来看,单项题覆盖面,主要是考查第一部分:第1章、第2章、第4章及第5章的内容考得较频繁,主要考查的知识点是与商务英语写作密切相关的基础知识,包括词、句中的基本语法知识点;词汇和语法改错题可以看作是单选的翻版,只不过是换了一个形式考查。词汇和语法改错题分布基本覆盖了第1章、第2章、第4章及第5章的知识点内容,共10题;连词成句主要考查第2章、第4章、第5章,共10题,主要考查学生是否将凌乱的词根据商务英语句中的基本语法知识点将其连接成具有逻辑性的句子;标点符号改错题主要考查学生第3章的知识,将每句中错误的标点符号改成正确的标点;备忘录的写作主要的是考查第6章的知识,根据题目要求,运用正确的备忘录格式,表达准确的语言撰写一篇50字左右的备忘录;商务应用文的写作,此类题型主要考查第二部分知识即第613章的内容,考查学生的英语写作的综合能力。
